Hello and welcome to my digital portfolio.

I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Brooklyn, NY. I have earned degrees in marketing and interior architecture. I have mentored for high-end residential interior designers, architects and lighting designers while attending Parsons. My idea was to intern with talented firms in different specialties of design in order to broaden my skill set. In addition, much of the knowledge I have regarding the build environment, I learned in my adolescence, visiting my father’s millwork shop and eventually becoming a manufacturer in my teens and project manager and drafter in my early twenties.

I launched a furniture brand called Visilek while working at my father’s shop and am very proud that my designs have been featured in projects by Nate Berkus, Ingrao Inc, Grand New York, Frank Di Biasi and more. My most successful piece was the Quadra cocktail table which I have made dozens of in different sizes. I equate the success of the Quadra with fast turn around of shop drawings for custom layouts, quick estimates and most importantly listening to peoples wants and needs regarding finishes.

While interning at Orsman Design I was eventually offered a new and special position by Nathan Orsman to design light fixtures. Although that venture was short lived because I came to the conclusion that I wanted to practice interior architecture, we were able to create light fixtures that the firm consistently uses in their projects including the Grasp, Held and Chamfer art lights. During my time at ODI I learned the importance and technical aspects of lighting from color temperature to properly circuiting and powering LED layouts within a home.

What I love the most about design is the ability to be creative & the opportunity communicate and solve problems with a team of passionate people by my side. The very best part is seeing the final result and sharing that moment of joy with the client.
